Does anyone know of a keystroke (or other convenient method ) for Shutdown
and Restart in Vista. I used to rely on these options in a taskbar menu
with XP, but they took that out in Vista. Sometimes when your windows freeze
and you cannot call up the start menu with the windows key it comes in handy
to have an alternate method that you can always access. Thanks

Those options are still on the taskbar, just a little hidden.
Click on Start then click in the ">" in the lower right corner.
"WaLa" click on your choice.
I found another neat way to do a ShutDown if your mother
board is setup with the proper power options. Just tap your
Power-On button on your PC for about a second or less and
that will start a Shut-Down.
