Alcohol & Wi Fi

Well, you may laugh, but for village yokels it's not a bad idea!

My parents live in the beautiful village of Charlton Down in central Dorset, in which you can't get broadband... Mind you, there's not even a pub there :eek:

I wonder if this is going to be the next big thing;

Move over cyber cafes... the Cyber Pub is here! ;)

Me thinks a lot of unsavoury content will be in the tempory internet files folder of those computer!!

Is that a wise idea? bringing your expensive laptop to a pub, getting drunk, and if the PC crashes, throwing it out the window in a fit of drunken anger...

1 question: will the bar man only give you the pass to join the network afterr you hve spent £10?

Did you see that poll; 'Have you abused your computer?'! te he he ;)

I wonder what kind of input the poor laptop will get once the person using it in the pub starts using it after a few drinks. We sure will have a new section of jokes dealing with usage of computer in the pubs :D

Seems like you would need a ruggized laptop, and maybe even a waterproof one. Can you imagine taking a laptop to work with a smell of beer? Probably would not help your performance review.
