Alarm type application suffering from WM 2003 "Sleep"

Hi,

This is my first time developing application for Windows Mobile 2003
Second Edition running on HTC manufactured HTC Magician/i-Mate Jam/O2
XDA Mini. I am developing an application that calculates Muslim prayer
time and after specified time and for specified time puts the phone
volume to silent and then makes the phone audio to maximum volume.

I am using Timer objects to determine when it is time for the phone to
go silent and back to normal. The application works fine on Visual
Studio 2005 Phone emulator.

I tested the application on my phone it did not work. I re-tested this
time with the device charging and hence no "sleep" it worked perfectly.
Therefore, phone "Sleep" causes the application not to work.

I am very distressed and I have no idea what to do now. I have overcome
many problems only to get stuck at the last hurdle.

I do not want to turn the "Sleep" off on my phone. What else can I do?
Please help!

Don't use timers to accomplish it. Use CeRunAppAtTime(). That will wake
the device up, if it's asleep, when it's time to do something.
