AIW 9600

I installed this card yesterday and I'm still unable to install MMC 8.9. I have used the cd, downloaded the newest package from ATIs web sight and followed install directions but at every reboot I get the error message " The MultiMedia Center 8.9.0.0 appears to not be installed". I installed in order, DirectX 9, DAO/MDAC, DVD Decoder and then MMC 9. Any help here?
P4 1.6 gig
512 DDR Ram

I think that you need to do a clean install. Run ATI uninstall and
reinstall as you indicated.
