I've tried the plutonium 8.1 drivers as well as the omega drivers. and
they didn't help. i've also tried the removal tools that are out there
with no luck whatsoever. i do have a DVS that removes the macrovision,
but the video still has some artifacts in it. i think that with a
software patch, this would clear this up.

TIA!

Sorry to be negative, but I have the same card and have followed up and
tested every google link, AND tried a hardware signal cleaner from Maplin
that claimed to do the job.

Nothing worked.
I've given up.

Being in the UK, did you make sure that the hardware device you tried followed
the PAL standard?

well I'm in the process of trying to hack the driver myself. I have a
little (very) knowledge in that area. but I don't feel like it will be
any time soon that it'll be done. but if I am successful, i will be
posting it here. so wish me luck. i will be watching this group for
any and all updates.

Thanks for all your input.

one more thing, does anyone play Nintendo64 game emulators with this
card? i tried Project64, but gives an error stating something about
Direct3D not working????? any info would be helpful.

Thanx again.

Don't know if it helps, but VisualBoyAdvance
http://vba.ngemu.com/
is playing Pokemon every day here without a glitch.

(Haven't understood all these different consoles - and don't want to!).

i have that one. but i want to play N64 games. my other system has an
Nvidia card and that plays very well. but this system has the ATI
card, and was hoping to play some of these games with this one.
