AIW 9000 or 9600 PAL source

Need to source these two from USA. Will they work in UK please?

As I recall, AIWs are region limited: you get different models for PAL/SECAM
areas and NTSC areas. This applies to video in; I think a lot of Radeons
are switchable for video out.

VIVOs are generally capable of handling all region video inputs, but ATI do
very few of these, now: certainly not a 9600. They may still do a 9000
VIVO.

If you want an AIW capable of handling PAL, I would think Sapphire would be
your best bet. AFAIK they will run the MMC software - beware! A lot of
OEMs won't - and also run much better on their manufacturer's modified
drivers than ATI's own Catalyst ones, which generally puts you a version
behind. Sapphire also include a VIVO option for the 9600 and 9600 Pro, but
these VIVO versions seem to be completely unavailable in Europe. :-(
