AIW 2006 (Re)Install Instructions

I have re-installed the software for my AIW 2006 (PXI Express) several times
and saw different problems each time. ATI support is no help. They refer me
to the web site which does not have instructions for the AIW and has not been
updated since the control panel was discontinued.

I want to install everything including MCE 2005 support.

I tried installing Catalyst and rebooting but got many errors about the
additional devices and crashes in MCE programs.

I tried suppressing reboot and installing everything. This seemed to work but
I had issued that ATI said would be fixed by a reinstall so I tried and this
time I get a message that "ACE can not connect to the MACE service" every time
Windows starts.

Is there anywhere detailed instructions on how to remove and reinstall the AIW
software?

My Setup:

ATI AIW 2006 PCI Express
Dell XPS 400 Dual Core 2.8 GHz
1GB Memory

got the 1900aiw pci express

this is my order....

order of install aiw 1900xt

drivers

dotnetfx.exe
6-5_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_32464.exe the drivers

multimedia

9-14_mmc_uci.exe
6-5_encoder_32464.exe
atiCDwiz.exe it validates your install cd, or run setup.exe
for DVD player
9-14_mmc_enu.exe Select tv, stills, dvd player.


I only select the tv, stills, dvd player.

I got a imaged drive without any ati stuff installed.

When the newer driver comes out, I install on that drive.
