To me in all honesty the truck driver should has slowed, instead he accelerated to prevent her from going in

The fault is with both drivers because she too should have had sense to stop trying to push in a gap like that instead to continued to push her luck

Dumb vs. dumber. Textbook case.

I was given a good piece of advice long ago when I was in the driving school:

ALWAYS keep an eye out for trucks, trains, trams and buses. They have the ultimate right-of way built-in — they are bigger than you.

Ok, car driver not gifted in the brains dept but that lorry driver was bang out of order, I hope the insurance companies saw the cab footage.

Happens all the time when driving, not all HGV/LGV Drivers are the same!
I have even got advanced driving skills but still car drivers like to cut in & watch me slam on the brakes!
And in a lorry it's air brakes and you stop quickly as the person driving behind you finds out!
