hi,
i have a nvidia nforce2 chipset on my motherboard for the amd athlon
xp and windows 2000 installs fine. but when i get to my chipset driver
installations, it installs the agp to pci bridge driver (GART) the output
on the monitor becomes barely ligible. lines are running up and down
all over the screen, and when the mouse is moved the area around the
cursor gets blurred even more. i can barely make out anything to read,
but i finally have been able to get to the device manager and uninstall
the agp to pci bridge and when i restarted the problem was fixed, but i
have tried to install the most updated drivers with the same result. this
didn't happen with windows xp, and it didn't happen the first time i
installed 2000, and i would rather use 2000, does anyone know how to
fix this? or what the problem is?
thanks,
Stephen
