Hi I asked a simalar question recently about AGP cards of differnet speeds
but now I would like to know about a specific card.
I notice that the geForce FX 5200 128MB AGP card will work in a 2,4 or 8
speed slot. Will the Aopen FX 5500 also work in the whole range of slots?

I am trying to attach a dual monitor card to a couple of computers and this
looks like just the job. The only trouble is I am unsure about the speed of
the AGP slot on the motherboard. (They are quite old thought)

Any advice greatly recieved.
Cheers

because I am upgrading 2 computers I was really wondering about that
graphics card?

One of the computers is an NEC and the motherboard has 16MDR721F6 MST-F
printed on it or MC 4532 CD64 7XF-A75

It's largely the same card. It uses the same Nvidia chip.

PS, you can find out what your motherboard supports by using everest or
aida32. Or you could post the models of your motherboards.

Juan, Thanks for that. That link to wikidedia is a great page that explains
everything. Spot on! Cheers.
