What type of motherboard do you have? If you have an older VIA/AMD
motherboard the Nvidia driver will drop the video adapter down to PCI mode
if it receives too many errors running at AGP speed.
If it's a newer motherboard XP may not have an AGP filter driver that
supports your motherboard chipset therefore any AGP card will run at PCI
speed. Install the latest AGP filter driver from intel/nvidia/sis/via/etc.

This should not be a problem. I would suggest PCI Radeon or Geforce based
adapter, older PCI adapters may not be able to run as a secondary card.
