i have a gforce fx 5800 am running xp pro, but the card
is agp but is running in pci mode. how do i change it to
agp mode

What type of motherboard do you have? If you have an older VIA/AMD
motherboard the Nvidia driver will drop the video adapter down to PCI mode
if it receives too many errors running at AGP speed.

If it's a newer motherboard XP may not have an AGP filter driver that
supports your motherboard chipset therefore any AGP card will run at PCI
speed. Install the latest AGP filter driver from intel/nvidia/sis/via/etc.
website. Good luck,

If I am not mistaken you will set up the mode in the BIOS

My question Can I add a pci card with my agp and run 2 monitors?
I have win xp pro
TNX

This should not be a problem. I would suggest PCI Radeon or Geforce based
adapter, older PCI adapters may not be able to run as a secondary card.
