AGP Confusion

Can anyone help I have been given a system and new parts to upgrade.
Supermicro 370SSA motherboard, all other new stuff fitted . The AGP slot on
the motherboad is AGP pro it has a removable sticker for AGP pro cards the
manual says it is compatible with AGP and 4X graphics. But does not mention
voltage
The SIS website states AGP 1.0 Compliant & AGP 2X (200MHz)
PCI 2.1 Compliant and 3.3 volt technology.

Help will the AGP card explode the motherboard !!!

Your motherboard does support the older 3.3V AGP cards as well as the
newer 1.5V cards.

The card will theoretically work fine in your motherboard, assuming no
other odd incompatibilties unique to that pair. Keep in mind that
it's a poor video card, perhaps one of the worst even for non-gaming,
other lower demand usage.

It works ! no problems - No not the video card for sane humans but the
system isn't mine and the owner seems happy
