AGP cant get 8x

ok i recently bought a gigabyte motherboard and it is AGP
8x compatible and my video card is 8x. How do i get it to
8x like i read themanual and nothing then there was this
one that came with ATI control panel but that didnt work
PLEASE HELP!!

Then you didn't read the manual very well, as this is a BIOS setting and
nothing to do with Windows. Suggest you RTFM again.
 
My guess is update your motherboard drivers.. whatever u
do.. DONT DOWNLOAD DRIVERS FROM WINDOWSUPDATE!!
 
Go to Gigabyte and ask them,or check your bios settings
for your AGP may have a 2X 4X or 8X setting
....Good luck.
