I have assembled a computer using a Gigabyte motherboard
with 8X support, Video Card with 8X support. When I view
the video adapter the OS indicates 2X, motherboard and
video adapter show 8X. The performance is indicative of
the lower speed. Anyone have suggestions?

ok im marks son. and i use the computer more then my dad
(this perticular one) and i noticed that the bios and
chipset and motherboard and etc are fine its the os that
is messed up i guess. i say this cuz in the nvidia options
for agp settings (i have unlocked in REGESTRY) its a
secreat tab in the nvidia options on the forceware drivers
and it says...
