AGP 1.5V vs. 5V ?

Was in a computer store today and saw some motherboard stating that you
could only use a 1.5Volt AGP card with it. What spec is this, how can you
tell if a graphic card is 1.5V or an older specification? Does this have to
do with AGP 1x, 2x or 4x ??
