Age of Mythology HELP ME WITH CD KEY PLEASE

Ok recently me and a friend went and bought two copies of Age of Mythology
and every time one of us trys to log on to ESO we get a message "we cannot
validate your CD key Currently please try again in a few minutes" we both
have different cd keys and two different discs...and if it matters we're in
different houses
 
i have the same problem i bought age of mythology titans expansion but the
product key doesnt work it say invalid product key or cannot valiad at this
time try again ive spent weeks try i would think its laterr

Either of you share your keys with other people?

If your key is in widespread use (more than 1 computer tries to use it over
and over, Microsoft will usually assume the key has been compromised and
disable it. It's all automatic, and they can't reset the key, so the only
solution is to buy 2 more copies of the game.

May not be that, who knows, but it's one thing to consider.

A quick internet-search provided this link,

pointing to a possible cause;
"the age of mythology you bought has to be a microsoft game not
ubisoft or xplosiv because they use the same cd key on most of
there age of mythology games which means only 1 person who bought
from these 2 can be online at 1 time."
So if you have boxes from these sub-/re-/publishers you will
have to get in contact with them and have to hope that they will
replace their faulty common product-key with unique and working
ones for you .. and for everyone else.

Ahh, i finally looked up and found the above so forget all that
follows.

I wrote; "So if you have boxes from these
sub-/re-/publishers you will have to get in contact with them
....", where them is /Ubisoft/ or /Xplosiv/ the entity that
published your boxed copy. My 'AoM' copy is published by /ms/ so
i don't have experience going through the process myself.
