Hi,
I own a copy of Ubisoft Exclusive: Age of Mythology Gold Edition, but I have
a problem. The problem with both games is that the CD key cannot be properly
validated when I attempt to play a multiplayer game online. I know that many
copies of this game have been distributed, all with the same exact CD key. As
you already know, the same CD key may not be used by two players at once.
Therefore, this problem renders me unable to play a game online, because I
have the same CD key as everybody else.

I would like to request new, unique CD keys, both for Age of Mythology and
Age of Mythology: The Titans. If you require any additional information for
validation purposes, such as pictures or serial numbers, I will gladly send
them to you.

You've chosen a strange place to post this request, friend. This newsgroups
is for software developers using Microsoft's .Net (DotNet) software
development framework.

But just out of curiosity, I'd like to see if I understand what you want.

If I understand you correctly, you have bootleg copies of these games, which
you somehow acquired along with their original legitimate CD keys.
Undoubtedly they install and play on your own personal machine, but there's
a collision when you try to go online to play because some other person with
another similar bootleg copy happens to be currently logged on to the game
server.

Do I have it right so far?

Then you're hoping that someone on this programming newsgroup will give you
their own personal CD keys for your games, maybe because they have
legitimate copies of their own but don't intend to play online.

Right again?

Or do I have this completely wrong, and what happened was that Ubisoft sold
multiple copies of the games with the same key for all the copies? Or you
bought them in good faith from someone who concealed from you (or didn't
know) that they were bootleg copies?

Just trying to understand.

Anyway, if you have legitimate copies of these games, the people to contact
are the support folks at Ubisoft. If you can present acceptable proof of
purchase I'm sure you'll have no trouble getting new keys.

This is Ubisoft's problem, not Microsoft's. The link I gave you earlier is
the best place to start.
