Hi,
We're no longer looking a simple issue of a game not working.
Your system has obviously not recovered from the effects of the
malware which was installed on it. I suggest repairing the OS:
How to repair Windows XP:
Unplug from your Internet connection, and then repair Windows:
using this method:

Afterwards, boot up your system, turn on your XP Internet Firewall,
plug back into your Internet connection and install all Critical and

| Hi,
| I checked for software conflicts and ran the disk cleanup. My IE Browser is
| acting strange now. It took a while to open and when it did my favorite
| places links wouldn't work. I tried to manually type the site in and it was
| very sticky and just said done at the bottom. After clicking on some links at
| my startup page, and not hitting the back button, the browser starts to work
| normally though. However, My Aol browser was not affected. I already had
| Microsoft Spyware installed Because at the same time AOE2 stopped working my
| Lavasoft adaware program started jamming when it would scan the registry.
| Microsoft Spyware found no problems. If you have any suggestions I would
| appreciated it and thanks for the help.
