Julia Frustrated

I know that this topic is repeating, but it drives me crazy. Every time i stop using my laptop, even if it is just for a couple of minutes, it freezes. The only chance to wake it up is to make a hard restart. I hate it, and it is not good for my comp. Is there any opportunity to fix it? The screen does not go black, it just stays as it is frozen. Thanks in advance.

How much memory (RAM) have you got?

Try going into the BIOS and disabling Cool'n'Quiet (for AMD processor) or
Intel Speedstep. I've seen this happen in another laptop, so if disabling
this stops the problem, we have isolated the cause. Disabling it is just
for seeing if this is the root of the problem, and it is not something that
you actually want to keep disabled, especially on a laptop.

It sounds like it may be trying to go to Sleep or Hibernate. For a test,
turn off sleep and Hibernate and see if it freezes.

And what did the laptop's manufacturer have to say when you called for
warranty support?
