Poor Richard
Recently, my HP laptop would not boot. It stopped at the blue Windows
screen. I took it to a repair shop and they ran a "windows repair program"
That created a new account in the file structure name owner\<computer
name>. However when windows stated, it used the owner account and I had to
move all the account information over too owner. Now it seems that every
time I boot, some other problem occurs. I get an error msg the
hpwirelessmgr.exe could not start, my desktop changes often, and now I do
not have a sound device, however windows media player works. Several of the
services no longer start at boot. Any suggestions to help me not to have to
spend several hours a day trying to get it back in shape?
