This is a pretty big problem, here is the run down:
When user A logs on, redirected printers are created with a corresponding
session ID. On occasion, user A will log off, but the printers under their
session number will not be deleted. No big deal so far. Until, someone logs
in, we'll say, user B; and gets users A's session ID, and as a result, users
A's printers that were not deleted!!
In our case, we are delivering financial data to customers. If user B prints
to user A's printer (which is at another company entirely) - they are
looking at confidential financial data, and this situation becomes
intolerable, as you can see.
Has anyone experienced this or can offer any help at all?? We are in dire
straits are this point, any help would be much appreciated!!
Platform is Windows 2000 SP4 (no Citrix or any other 3rd party TS apps),
with a slew of TS related hot-fixes. Clients are using the latest web -
active X control RDP client from various platforms.
TIA
