after upgrade to vista install xp back on other computer?

Can I use my windows xp operating system on a nother computer once I up
grade to vista ? or does this kill my xp system from being used on
older computer ?

That depends on whether you use the upgrade of full version of Vista. If
you use the upgrade version of Vista, then the XP license becomes part of
the Vista license meaning you cannot then move that XP license to another
computer.
