after the story board

is filled and the time line is finished, I push the play and movie maker
disappears from my screen when I restart it all my work is
gone................also the same happens when I try to review any saved files

Ouch! Sounds like you may have a few files that got corrupted. I would
re-install Windows Movie Maker and see if that resolves the issue. Here's a
