after system restore, cant switch back to normal mode

I performed a system restore, which fixed my internet browsing problems, but
now I can't change back to normal mode. I change the settings in System
Configuration, but nothing changes. Help!

What happens when you try to boot normally? Error message? Stop error?

Thanks for your post, Rick. I figured it out: I had "Safe Boot" checked!
(duh) Everything seems to be ok now. Thanks again.
