AFTER sp2 update error KEEPS RESTARTING

i was downloading the sp2 update for xp and while installing it had an error and once it restarted it said xp loading then restarts, it does this in safe mode also, the computer will keep restarting till i turn off. is there a way i can roll back from msdos. i dont have a cd rom or floppy drive for my labtop n e more.
 
I am having same problem. Gets to windows loading screen and reboots. Any help would be appreciated

Let's see now...you're complaining of problems caused by installing a SP
that hasn't been released, is still in beta that you (probably) downloaded
via Kazaa. You installed this code without taking the proper precautions
(like backing up at the very least - I'd have cloned the drive first) and
you're surprised your computer is less than well...

You're either very naive or very stupid - and I'd go with the latter.

I really don't know what you expect us to do about it...

Do you mean the computer manufacturer did not furnish a CD?
If that is the case, you may need to contact them to see what other
options they provided.

Or if you mean that the computer doesn't have a floppy drive, how the hades
did you install Windows in the first place?!

Have you ever heard of RIS? We have about 48 computers that have no external media drives as the security requirements of the environment require it

Why don't you try to be helpful....
