After Protecting Forms, Can't Make Envelope

I've created one file that consists of 35 standardized letters (documents) using icons from the Forms Toolbar. The file is set up so that I can fill in information on one page and it autopopulates into all of the pages throughout the document. My problem is that when the document is protected, the ability to create an envelope goes away. I've tried bringing the envelope into the document, but the flexibility of choosing how you want to print it is gone and you can only print in the landscape format. The envelope fields will autofill properly and everthing is fine until I protect under the forms mode. Any suggestions?

Hi =?Utf-8?B?REQ=?=,
I've created one file that consists of 35 standardized letters (documents)
using icons from the Forms Toolbar. The file is set up so that I can fill in
information on one page and it autopopulates into all of the pages
throughout the document. My problem is that when the document is protected,
the ability to create an envelope goes away. I've tried bringing the
envelope into the document, but the flexibility of choosing how you want to
print it is gone and you can only print in the landscape format. The
envelope fields will autofill properly and everthing is fine until I protect
under the forms modeI'd say you either need to work without forms protection, or create the
envelope(s) in a separate document. If you don't absoutely NEED forms
protection, except for filling in the data, then perhaps it would be better
to use a UserForm for the data-input with macros to place it in the
document?

Or, once you've typed the data into the form fields, unprotect and turn the
fields to passive text?
