AFTER PREVIOUS animations in PPT do not work when there is a WIT.

I use a lot of PPT animations that should run during a voice explanation. I
start the explanation and want the first animation to start WITH or soon
after the voice -- no problem. I want all the subsequent ones to START AFTER
that first animation, not AFTER the voice file finishes, so that they all run
during the voice. There is no way to do this that I can find except to use
START WITH the voice on all the animations and then time each one
consecutively - which is a pain in the ass. AND THEN if you have to make a
timing change in one of the earlier animations, you have to change the timing
in all the subsequent ones. PPT needs to do what it says: START AFTER the
previous animation, no matter how that one is programmed to start (as in
START WITH the voice file).

What version of PowerPoint? If 2002 or 2003, have you played with the advanced
timeline? Start "after" means "after completion". However, use "with previous"
and you can use the timeline to change things and make them overlap, etc.

If you are using an old version of PowerPoint, you won't see the many advanced
functions that are now available.
