I guess this is when using IE6.
If so, click on Tolls on the top bar and then Internet options. Click on the
Advanced tab.
Scrool down and check the boxes for:
Enable automatic image resizing

No I have the same problem now. When I installed SP2 now
my pictures that used to open with Windows Picture and
Fax Viewer won't open with them. It is all picture
formats. When i say open with on right clicking instead
of windows picture viewer is says shmgvw.dll to open the
pictures. I can open them with paint or photoshop but
the windows picture and fax viewer is basically gone of
my computer now. Any ideas on how to fix this? Also, I
tried going to Add windows components and it won't let me
access that either. When i go to that is says missing
iss.inf but the iss.inf file is in my windows directory!
DOH! Any Help would be appreciated.

ok found a fix for mine if it is the same thing. When I
installed SP2 it wouldn't open the pictures with windows
picture and fax viewer. So I opened the windows folder
and did a search for shimgvw.dll and there was one in my
windows folder that was in a compacted file that was
411KB and one in the windows\system32 file that was 428KB
I replaced the smaller one with the larger one in the
windows\system32 folder and it fixed it. I didn't have
to reboot or anything. Hope this helps.
