After installing in English, Panda runs in Spanish language!

After having purchased the software online and downloading it (instead
of ordering the packaged product), I am having a really wierd thing
happening. I indicated that I live in the U.S. and I downloaded what
I could only assume to be the English language version of the
software. When I installed the software, I chose English as the
language as opposed to the other choice there was, which was Spanish.
Now, when I run the program, it is in Spanish! I have repeated the
process multiple times of redownloading the software, removing the
first installation, re-installing it and it does the very same thing.
I have contacted Panda software technical support about this, I was
just curious if anyone else has ever had this bizarre problem. It's
the first time I've come across this sort of thing and I've installed
and used a ton of software!

BTW, this is the 2004 version of Panda Titanium...

Have you posted by the pseudonym "Brett". It seems I read a very similar post a couple of
hours ago with the exact same problem. The suggested answer is/was:
"...contacting Panda's Tech Support at the following web site;
http://www.pandasoftware.com/support/contact.aspx"

In addition:
If you post to UseNet with your TRUE, not a munged, email address then you have invited the
Swen Internet worm [aka; W32/Gibe-F] to visit you.

The Swen is news spelled backwards. The reason it is called this is because the Swen worm
harvests email addresses from UseNet News Groups. It has an engine that allows it to post
itself to UseNet News Groups as well as it has its own email engine. From the list of
email addresses that it has harvested, it will then email itself to those addresses.

Thanks a lot for the quick response...no I didn't send a post with the
name Brett (I'll have to look for that particular posting). Also, I
appreciate the reminder about not using my real email address (I meant
to change it, it was a foolish oversight on my part which I hope I've
now corrected!).

Again, I really appreciate the advice!

It could also have to do with the fact that it creates a file named
swen1.dat.

Many malware names come from strings within the program.

Have same problem. Tried to email Panda support three times. No answers.
Figured they were turning their back on this problem. I finally solved the
problem by installing NOD32 and must say I am very happy with my choice.
Panda lost a customer.
