After the upgrade to WinXP Professional, it installed Windows Media Player,
and took away my Crescendo plug-in that I had with Win98.
I work on HTML files on my system before I send them up to my website and I
like the Crescendo icon, so I can turn my midi off while I'm editing the
HTML file.
I uninstalled Windows Media Player, and re-installed the Crescendo plug-in
that I had saved from when I used Win98. But Windows Media Player seems to
keep coming back!
And now when I click on the .HTML file on my system, it takes forever for it
to open up. Whereas, before I installed the Crescendo plug-in, it opened
immediately. I am seeing the Crescendo icon now though...
It seems that the Crescendo (www.liveupdate.com) site is no longer in
existence, so I couldn't go there for help.
I hope that I've explained my problem clear enough...
Any help on getting my IE6 offline .html files to open fast again, would be
greatly appreciated.
Also, I run javascripts and active X scripts on my WebPages. Could it be
that they are not jiving with the Crescendo?

P.S. Check out my website, to see what scripts I'm running if this may help
you solve my problem. Thanks
