After install Update KB915597 it keeps prompting to install it aga

Hi there. I use the Automatic Updates of XP which alerts me when an update is
available.
I have installed the update for Defender: KB915597 but it keeps asking me
every 2 minutes that the same update is available to install.

Why is this happening?

The update did not, in fact, get completely installed.

Generally this is quickly fixed by using the workaround steps in this KB
