After install Sec Update (KB824146) - Outlook hangs

After I have installed "Security Update for Windows 2000
(KB824146)" on a Win 2000 workstation, Outlooks hangs
when checking mail (about 10-20 secs after starting
outlook) on a few PC's (4 of 15).
I cannot se anything incommon with these machines that
doesnt match the others that works ok.
They are all Win 2K english version, with latest
Servicepack.
I have tried to repaire the PST-file, but there are no
errors....

I'm totaly out of ideas :-(

I'm not sure what determines which is going to have problems, but I'm
also having this problem at four different clients and also
occasionally on my network.

All the locations are mainly Win2K machines with a few WinNT machines.
Only the Win2K machines seem to have the issues. My PC's are WinXP and
I rarely get it, but only on one PC. The other locations have apx 100,
60, 25, 10 PC's and the biggest has maybe half a dozen with issues and
the others have a couple each. Either that or most users aren't
complaining. Only one of the PC's at the largest location actually
hang. All the rest just have the generic delay message for Outlook pop
up. Quite often on many of them though (except mine).

It's definately related to the patch though.
