After IE7 Uninstall

Tried IE7, way to buggy for simple me. After uninstall IE6 crashes more than
an unexperienced MX racer.

Hijackware may be the culprit (unless you haven't rebooted *twice* since
uninstalling IE7 B2).

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

Give me a break. I installed current patches from Win Update, no problem.
Then installed IE7 beta (big mistake) and booted. Started IE7, controls at
top (minimize, maximize) cause IE7 to loop. Closed, booted, closed, booted,
closed, booted. Gave up, uninstalled IE7. Now can't use IE6 (despite boot,
boot, boot, boot) -- opens to home page, but new addrs (like espn.com) cause
a second instance to spawn, and both instances are unusable. No loop, but not
usable either.

BTW: running MS Defender and AVG.

The links to "IE newgroups, IE6.0" take you to an OLX 6 forum. Very helpful,
that.

I'm using an alternative, stable, brand of browser to do the post. You can
figure it out.
