After creating a reporting workbook with multiple sheets and drop down menus,
the workbook was mailed to 12 staff. Staff found that cells which were not
locked in the emailed original document were locked on arrival - other staff
found other sites were locked and did not allow them to use originally
unlocked cells. Some staff found hyperlinks did not work.
The workbook was shipped unzipped. Hyperlinks, dropdown menus, one hidden
page and simple sum calcualtions were the extent of the calculations and
functions in the document. Cells were locked and the document was protected
for locked cells.
Why does each receipient have different problems?
Does an excell file such as this need to be "pack and go" similar to a
PowerPoint presentation?
Thanks
thanks for any suggestion.
