hello!

sth terrible happened to me,
i have deleted alle entries in my registry with the name "perfectnav
because i got some advertisement-popups.

but now one of my harddrives (drive d:) is totally cryptic.
all directories and files have names like:
Ͼk½ðÝÖ$.9þ@
ex Wille.r.r
¢ä+a(ÙÀ+.0

i cant open either the directories, nor the files. i get message
like:
"cannot open XXX. the directory has been moved or deleted" or
"cannot open XXX. the syntax of the filename is wrong"

oh my god, what could i do now?
the files are essentialle important for me, how can i repair this?
even when i boot with an old DOS-bootdisk, the filenames look th
same!

help!!!

Sounds like an unrelated issue. Either case box up the drive and send it to
one of the recovery services.
