HELP!
When I log onto the Internet via IE 6 using a 512 ASDL Line, after a min or
so when i try to access another page it fails and i try to refresh the page
but cannot connect even though the ADSL Line is still connected and
functioning OK? I downloaded service pack 2 for XP but that hasnt cleared the
issue. I also connected via a basic analogue line and had the same issue
disconnecting the page after a min or so. It doesnt matter what page I am
logged onto if I change after a min or so then it states that maybe I need to
check my settings via internet options, connections?
Any help would be really a great help Thanks Mark

First eliminate any scumware.
CAUTION!!!!! Before you try to remove spyware using any of these programs ,
download a copy of LSPFIX from any of the following sites:
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
http://www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html
(if your OS is Win2k or XP) The process of removing certain malware may kill
your internet connection. If this should occur, this program, LSPFIX, will
enable you to regain your connection.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

Thanks for you help! I ran the software and it found no issues so just to
explain this again in case I missed any thing
Once I logged onto the internet and go to any website lets say
www.microsoft.com and go to any area of that page after a min the next page
I go to I get “ the page cannot be displayed†The page you are looking for is
currently unavailable. The web site might be experiencing technical
difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.
The only way to start this again is shut down IE then disconnect my ADSL
Line then restart the process again.
I have a laptop which works no issues at all though its only using SP1 for XP?
Thanks again for your help Mark
