Long shot here, but I was wondering if anyone here is working in the Aerospace/Avionics industry and could offer some advice? :)

I'm applying for graduate jobs at the moment, but I'm sure there are some places that are better than others to work for. I've got the usual times guides etc... but there isn't anything better than real world advice!

Anyone from Airbus/BAE/Smiths here :o
 
Boeing

General Electric and Honneywell dont have as good of benefits as Boeing.

I think its because they are vendors for Boeing.

I worked for Honneywell and the benifits went down hill since Allied Signal owns them.
 
Cheers Techguns, unfortunatly there aren't any of those offices around here (Honeywell used to have a place near until last year, but only a sales office).

Cheers for that Mucks :) Tried applying to Warton a few weeks ago but didn't get anywhere :(

Might give them a ring and re-try after Christmas though :thumb: Looks like the exact place I want to work as its all based on Air Systems up there :D
 
Well, it's worth trying again ... a lot of 'civvies' work there now. ;)
