I have Windows XP Home Premium
Details available inform me that Aero is abailable on this version
The CD supplied does not install Aero
There is no mention of aero on the CD
Is This and omission or is the details shown in advertisements incorrect.

1. Go to Start > Help and Support
2. Type AERO in the Search box, press the Enter key.
3. Click on "Troubleshoot problems with Windows Aero".

Aero is not included with any versions of XP :-)

If you meant Vista Home Premium then it is included. If you are not seeing
it, it is because something is amiss with your hardware. What video
card/chipset do you have?

Silly mistake in original question ; The version is, of course Vista Home
Premium.

It was installed by OEM

"Troubleshoot problems with Windows Aero". does not show where you suggested

Is the version installed by OEM different to the retail version?

Again I ask is this a mistake or are the details in the adverts incorrect?

Denis

All versions of Windows Vista, except for Windows Home Basic,
include Vista Aero. Please review the following:

You may not have the option to enable transparent glass effects in Windows Vista
