I've been staring at the transpaent glass for a while now. It looks more
like colored acylic.

I heard that they, MS, have put subliminal messages in there, I try not to
look at it.

Actually I almost did, I saved it on disk after my first install. Then when
I reinstalled Vista a second time I wiped it out. Lucky for me I found a
copy of it on another computer. Doh!

I leave things like that on the server until everything is finished.
Learned the hard way.

I usually have one computer I designate as the main computer.

But when Vista is set up for the first time, Windows for all it matters, and
set up an email account, they option to leave a copy on the server is not on
by default. So it plucked it off the server. Lucky for me another computer
got a copy of it before it happened.

See everything worked out for the best :)

I keep all the really important stuff buried in a coffee can in the
backyard.

Also print and file works. Remember paper? Leaving on the server is a pain
except with IMAPI. Just curious, your MVP name is horst, but the email
address is harst, so even after the remove, seems you wouldn't get it. Not
that I would try. Having my email address posted once in a public place got
me about 25 virus messages a day for about 2 months before they gave up
sending them.

I tried that, but my wife wouldn't go.

I don't go anywhere without my tinfoil lined hat, either. The government
can read your mind if you don't.

The subliminal messages won't penetrate sunglasses. Wear one, protects the
brain.

There is a story there. I originally got started with MSN through a 60-day
free subscription when I bought a computer at Best Buy. The salesclerk
entered my name wrong (colinbarharst instead of colinbarnhorst) for the MSN
account and I have never bothered to change it to this day. Many many years
ago now. It actually is my msn email account name.

When I first heard about the aero glass I thought they meant the thingy on
the screen that turns over and over while you wait and wait.

Cute story. Outlook Express never showed the email address so never noticed
it on the x64 group

It's likely the better half doesn't read the forum?

I tried that, but my wife wouldn't go.
