Somehow My PC has managed to get some Adware on it.
I have backupped my registry, and deleted the keys as told via my
Anti-Virus software. So i re ran the program and said they where still
present, even though it's a clean registry, I've checked to make sure the
keys are gone. But it still say's the adware is present. I have managed to
delete some of the bits manually. But soem of them i can't find, even
through the find, file\folders program. Is there anything I can do else, or
is it safe as the keys are missing?

Have you installed, updated to current, and run AdAware and Spybot?

Quit trying to do it manually and get 'spybot S&D' from
www.security.kolla.de (I think I typed that right, if not just google
for it).

There are several threads in this NG plus other NGs that
address these issues.

Most antivirus programs just check for viruses and
occasionally worms and/or trojans. You also need anti
spyware/maleware software.

D/L Lavasoft's Ad-aware 6.0 from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

You will need to click on the word Ad-aware in the left hand
box on the screen to get to the FREE version.

Also D/L Spybot Search and Destroy 1.2 from
http://www.safer-networking.org/

This is also a free program (Donation ware). You will need
to run the update feature in each program after you install
them.

Why both? One of them may catch spyware/maleware that the
other one doesn't find. Recently a friend found 116 spyware
problems with Ad-aware that Spybot S&D missed. I've seen the
opposite situation too.

Some prevention would help reduce what Adaware and Spybot
will find. They should do some clicking on these links for
a change.

Actually,

Last fall my niece and her 9 year old daughter got slammed
after they installed Comcast's DSL software. They had over
100MB of hard core porn on their HDD. They had over 5
hijacker programs. It took me hours to clean up the crap!
