Why won't it remove adware.gator and
adware.sahagent ?

Hi Lisa

First:

- Send a suspected spyware report to MS about this, menu tools

Then try this:

- Download/Install CCleaner, www.ccleaner.com

- Download/Install Lavasofts Adaware

http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022-10319876.html?tag=list

* Also watch the video from Cnet about Adware within page
for best result.*

- Download Winsockfix, just a precaution if you loose your LSP.
http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=257

- Restart in *safe mode*, press F8 during reboot

- Run CCcleaner and remove all temporarily junk.

- Run Adaware, fullscan

- Run MSAS, fullscan

- Restart

- Please report back if it works.

It should remove anything that it identifies.

If it does not, please restart your machine in safe mode (by pressing the F8
function key before the initial Windows screen appears.)

Do a full, deep scan in safe mode and remove what is found.

I will let you know. Thanks.
