Stick with Windows Defender and stop worrying.

There is no reason to replace one with the other unless they interfere
with one another in some way.

Sorry, I started a new thread. (The reason would have been obvious from the
other thread).
SupAntiSpyware took 4 hs. 22 min to do a full scan, and 1h. 25 min for "
quick scan ". That's unacceptable.
I un-installed it already.
May be I'll just rely on Windows Defender ?

MBAM is very fast on my system. I regularly do a "Quick Scan". Try it:

t-4-2 why not try SpyBot Search and Destroy? Make it a great day.

I do have Search & Destroy 1.6.2, and I keep it up to date. Is that and
Windows Defender enough for just regular home use ?
My machine runs Vista Home Premium 32 bit SP1.

If you use an AV which does spyware like Avira 9, run Windows Defender,
SpyBot and Malwarebytes, you should have most exits covered..

OK. Thank you everyone. I believe I have all the answers I need. This thread
has gone too long.
Thanks again. ........ t-4-2
