when I'm scanning my computer, my antivirus (F-secure 2006)
finds an adware: Navipromo, and ask for quarantin it. when quarantined, , my
antivirus keeps warning me:so my computer is still infected by this
adware...but Ms defender doesn't find the adware, why? How delete Navipromo?

thanks for your answer! So I tried, but it didn't work: in fact, i have a
"pack sécurité"F-secure that i bought to my internet server "neuf telecom"
(France)and i don't know what to do: i checked the F-secure and my internet
server websites... now I think i should find how delete the adware
manually...

so I downloaded and installed ewido, and F-secure blacklight... i first did a
scan with ewido,
which found the navipromo adware, but it keeps asking me for what to do with
it, as my antivirus did....
so, after i did a second scan, and this time, ewido didn't got any issue
with navipromo.. it found it, and delete it...
after i scaned again my computer with the F-secure blacklight that didn't
find anythin... I guess navipromo is gone for good... but I have to verify
with a new ewido scan... and about the forum webpages, i had already seen
them, but that was a very good idea...
So, a BIGGGG thanks, (i gonna confirm navipromo has left) (and yeah I'm the
same Morgan) I dunno what to do to thank you were so helpfull!
;-)

so I verified with an ewido scan, and nothing, my computer has no more adware
nor virus!!! that's an excellent thing!!!!
then, now my antivirus gots an error, but stays active, so i'm sure it's
nothing... :-s 5i'm sure computers hate me lol)
So, again, Thank you SOOOOOOO much! without you i dunnow what i would have
done.... :-)
if i can do anything, ask! ;-) thanks

Hi Morgan

Well....

It´s really important to fix your antivirusprogram, what are you
running ?

The easiest way is probably to uninstall F-Secure and then reinstall.

I´ve seen problem before with for example hanged updates as for mostly
all antivirusapps during "transient" conditions.

You should hate "the bad guys" which doing this with our PCs.....!

regards
plun
