Adware hot bar

I just installed the Beta and can not find the icon on my
desk top (how do I put it on, if appropriate?) and how do
I get rid of the hotbar on my internet explorer? It reads
when I do my Adawrae search; "CoolWebSearch" and shows it
on Reg key and Reg Value. Can anyone please tell me how to
resolve my two situations? I am not particularly
technically adept. I am a "Dick and Jane" computer type.

Try cwshredder.exe which you can get from

http://cwshredder.net/bin/CWShredder.exe

If it asks you if a file is random tell it NO and write
the file name down and come back and ask me. Otherwise it
should be easy to run for a novice.

Also get HijackThis.exe from

http://www.tomcoyote.com/hjt/HijackThis.exe

SCAN your system, SAVE LOG and send me the log (after
running CWShredder) as an attachment or copy and paste the
text here.

Vern - are you sure you installed Microsoft Antispyware? It has a
distinctive red and yellow target patterned icon. It should also be found
in the Start, All programs menu, under Microsoft Antispyware, and in Control
Panel, add or remove programs under Microsoft Antispyware.
