Greetings,

All I've to do is to have a Domain that acts like a Backup just in case

my actual one gets down (fails).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Just build a second server and promote it to a DC. Let it
sit on your network with the other DC to replicate and if
the primary ever goes down, you will only need to make the
backup a GC while you work on the first one.

.
As well as either TRANSFER or SEIZE the FSMO roles that
the "duly departed" DC held.

Thanks alot.

I've done as u directed but I can't see replication going.. users, OUs are
still on the 1st domain not duplicated to the 2nd. What may be the reason?

Thanks in advance.
