I am not so sure to update to Windows SP2 , when still I can not resolve a
problem with my EI 6, can somebody advice me if it is possible to do that and
it will not interfere each other. Thanks
 
I am sorry, I mean that I have problem with my EI 6, I can not open the
browser, every time I tried , it says CAN NOT FIND A SERVER, the page can not
be display., and I tried to fix it, but I could not, meantime I want to
update my window xp SP1 to window xp SP2, but I am not sure if I update
first,I can interfere with my EI 6 that I did not fix it yet. Thanks for your
reply.

First eliminate any spyware before installing SP2.

Thank you very much for your advice not to install SP2, until I fix my EI 6,
but I scan and I do not have spyware, and I am afraid to run the the program
LSPfix, becouse I could lost the connection to my internet, if something is
wrong. Please help me. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply, but I do not know how to back up the registry, they
recommend to do that, will you please help me. Thanks.
 
I back up my registry, and then I ran the program winsockxpfix, but still I
have the problem with EI 6, I can not open the page. Another suggestion I
will appreciate. Thanks.
