I just bought Windows XP and before I try to install it (upgrade,) I need
some advice.

I am currently running Win2K in a Raid 1 array using the Adaptec 1200A Raid
card with 2 hard drives.
Should I break the Raid array, hook up one hard drive to the IDE port,
upgrade to XP, and then re-setup the Raid 1 array, or can I install XP
keeping the array? I don't want to have problems with activation by changing
the hardware setup.

Also, I have a couple of external firewire drives that I occasionally use
and should they be connected during the upgrade?
Thanks for the help.
