Hi,
I have a sony Vaio PCG-GRT260G notebook. It has a P4 2.8GHz CPU, 1 GB
RAM, 64 Meg NVidia Graphics. I also have a Panasonic Analog camcorder.
I would appreciate advice on which A to D converter of the above is the
best for my setup?
Reading the Newsgroups I gather that most people don't like them
because either they don't like the software that comes with it or there
PC is not powerfull enough to get them to work well.
I am using Video Deluxe 2.0 and so far it is working just fine for me.
I love all the features it offers. So, I will probable be using that
software. In which case the software that comes with the converters
does not matter to me. What my concern is with the hardware part of
the converter.
Will it do, AVI format and will it do 720x480 30fps with no drop out or
glitching and how fast of a converion does it perform?
Also will a USB2 converter work with Video Deluxe 2.0 Plus? I tried a
Sonyo Camcorder and in USB mode Video Deluxe will not reconize the
camera. Video Deluxe will see the camera using the Firewire cable.
Thanks,
John
