Advice on Upgrading from WIN 98 to WIN XP

I have a P3 computer with lots of applications. I haven'T used it for a
long while. I have nothing that needs saving so I could re format the
HD and then load the WIN XP.

My preference is to re format and load the XP. Any Web sites with
instructions or guidance.
