Donnie

I have an FP R80 MF printer whihc works great, but I just got a new laptop
with all USB ports so the printer won't work since there are no converters
made to fit.

Now I need a new MF printer but with following capabilities:

1. Able to Network - I have a wireless network but also have a Hawking
print server so I could do an ethernet connection
2. Automatic Document Feeder
3. Flatbed copy capability
4. Color/B & W
But with as small a size as possible.

I don't care about photo quality since I have a photo specific printer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

They only way to really choose a printer is for you to take a trip to your
local computer store and look at the outputs of each one you are
considering. Then go home, and shop around for the best price.

Hi Cari,

Well, miracle of miracles, I finally got the old HPR80 to work by using a
print server and connecting it to my wireless network - just saved myslef
the cost of a new printer. HOWEVER, I have a problem:

When I send a large print job to the printer, the printer constantly pauses,
gives me an error message, restarts but prints the same page (or part of it)
dozens of times. It is almost as if the print buffer isn't big enough - is
this possible?

Any advice will be greatfully received.
